1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy is provided by Jay Ar Gargaran ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of Skedra. It explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our social media scheduling and management platform. By using Skedra, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Post content to your connected social media accounts on your behalf with your explicit consent
  • Upload and schedule videos to YouTube when you explicitly connect your account and request posting
  • Process and publish your content to TikTok (note: content may take a few minutes to appear)
  • Display analytics and insights from your connected accounts within the platform
  • Send you technical notices and support messages
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
  • Ensure compliance with platform policies and prevent spam
Important: We do NOT add any watermarks, branding, logos, or promotional content to your posts. We also do NOT build advertising profiles, augment user profiles for targeting purposes, or use your data for purposes beyond operating the Service.

4. TikTok Integration

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information:

  • With social media platforms (including TikTok, Meta) to post your content

7. Meta Data Deletion

As required by Meta's Platform Terms (effective February 3, 2025), we provide mechanisms for data deletion:

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, export your data, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at skedraapp@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

9. Legal Compliance

We comply with the Republic of the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), as well as GDPR and CCPA where applicable.

10. OAuth Token Lifecycle

For connected social platforms, Skedra handles OAuth tokens with a consistent security and lifecycle approach:

  • Tokens are stored securely on server-side systems with restricted access controls.
  • Tokens are used only for features you explicitly request, such as publishing, scheduling, and analytics retrieval.
  • Access tokens may expire and be refreshed while a connection remains active so your authorized workflows can continue.
  • Disconnecting an account from Skedra removes stored tokens for that connection and stops future actions from Skedra.
  • You can also revoke Skedra's authorization from each platform's app-permissions settings.
  • Tokens associated with account or data deletion requests are removed as part of deletion processing.

11. Google and YouTube API Data

When you connect YouTube, Skedra uses YouTube API Services and follows Google's API policies for handling Google user data.

  • We request only the scopes required to upload videos and read your connected channel profile for account linking.
  • We use Google/YouTube data only to provide user-facing features you request, such as scheduled publishing and account display.
  • We do not sell Google user data and we do not use Google user data for advertising.
  • By using Skedra's YouTube features, you also agree to YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Skedra's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
